21st July - Transylvania CC vs. New Victoria CC
- TCC's innings -
Sensing a possible victory, openers Andrew and Mike jog out to the wicket
New Vic's fast bowlers lead the attack
Skipper Andrew is quickly dismissed for a duck
Mike tries to get off the mark ...
... but soon joins his captain back in the stand
Shahmir starts to settle in and gets the team off the mark
Raj and Shahmir start to put together a useful partnership
Shahmir sweeps one in the stands
Raj follows suit with another boundary
The pair take a quick single
Another ball ends up in the crowd
New Vic try to break the partnership by bringing their pace attack back in
James comes into bat hoping to build on the lead
New Vic celebrate another wicket
James dismissed by a ball that cut back in
During the drinks break Laurentiu and Mahesh comtemplate the task ahead
New Vic quickly work their way through the TCC tail, the final victim being Robbie Callow
